Postally-used Wick 26 November 1908. One real-photographic card: (L.A.G.46 Clyth across very deep gully with sea surging into caves at foot of very high cliffs); message "Hill O Many Stones. This is the Clyth wreck doesn't look much like one here, but today the two ends has parted company ...D.Sinclair"; 1/2 cm tear, centre top). £25.00

2483. Postcard: Ireland, Belfast.

Phillips, Belfast, 1906. One real-photographic card, 9 1/2 cm x 13 cms, the reverse printed in purple with the words "POST CARD" separated by a logo, over the words "Phillips, Photographer, Belfast" and "For address only". Written on the back are the words "1906 Maria Boyd", and, in a modern hand, "The first electric tram to ply for hire in Belfast, at Queen's University". The photograph is a splendid record of municipal exuberance, with tram No 66, including the trolly-boom, festooned with electric lamps, with the monogram BCT high on the front and the City's motto on the modesty boards. The railings round the upper-deck are extended upwards for several feet with arches of lamps and branches of greenery. £40.00

Auckland, message dated 1921. One real-photographic card: Princes Street, Dunedin FGR5720 (view taken looking down steep hill; very good details of three- and four-storey buildings ; hairdresser's, oyster-bars; groups of pedestrians; three trams in middle ground and one in background; telephone poles; card sent, presumably in envelope or parcel, from Mattie at 30 MacLaggan Street, Dunedin, 2 May 1921). £35.00

HE Brunton, Hastings, postally-used Belfast, Ireland, 1909. One very-fine-grained printed card, very sharp: Railway Station, Hastings (superb busy railway station scene looking along the tracks towards the station; to the left are goods sidings with horse-vehicles, lamp standard, goods stores, men chatting and loaded wagons; middle distance has three trains between the platforms with tank engine facing camera; to the right a row of horse-drawn vehicles, the last of which is clearly a horse-bus; then good details of buildings opposite station, including Hassin's? Estate Agents, telephone poles, horse-drawn vehicle, early motor, and pedestrians; with water-tower in right foreground; very slight wear to corners and small crease to top-right corner). £45.00
